About us
Wanilere Cardenense is a community experience of articulation and integral transformation with an emphasis on the sociocultural.
What we do
We work for the preservation and revaluation of Afro-Cuban traditions. We also visualize the enormous contribution of black men and women to the forge of the Cuban nation and to our national identity, taking the history of the town as a starting point.
We promote strategies to encourage local development ventures, family empowerment networks, community training and self-financing as a starting point for the improvement of the quality of life in the area where our community experience and the development of our community are located.
We stimulate the creation of spaces for reflection and dialogue on aspects related to social equity, respect for difference, non-discrimination based on race, gender, territory and sexual identities, and non-violence against women and girls.
We encourage the exercise of good practices related to love of nature and environmental culture. What has its starting point in the spirituality and ancestry of Afro-Cuban religions.
